Foster Care Placement Exams

ACP also provides intake, transfer, and discharge medical exams for children going through placements into and out of the foster care system in Allegheny County. These medical exams are conducted by our Certified Nurse Practitioner and are only available at the ACP Allegheny site.

In an effort to not overload the waiting room, appointments are required for foster care medical exams. To schedule an appointment, please call Nurse Connie Shope at (412) 232-7308 during business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm.
